The threshold is set at 10 occurrences. When a word crosses that line, the validator flags it and triggers a rewrite call to Claude with explicit instructions to diversify vocabulary. After this pass, the flagged words typically drop to 4–5 occurrences, replaced by natural synonyms that don't feel forced. This single check eliminated the most obvious tell of AI authorship in my posts.
