Content Standards

These standards apply to text and images that Treeru creates or edits and publishes across the websites it operates. They cover the technical blog, Tree News, service and product descriptions, user guides, and other informational content. They are not limited to the news section.

Our checks and disclosures reflect how each item was made, including original writing, AI-assisted text, original photographs, AI-generated images, and third-party materials. Please also consult any source information or usage terms provided with an individual item.

Treeru may use AI tools to draft, refine, and translate content. Our principle is to check AI output against original sources or information we have verified, and edit it before publication rather than treating generated text as fact.

We prioritize official announcements, product documentation, research reports, and information we have checked directly. News and technical explanations identify supporting sources. Facts reported by another publication are attributed to that publication. Multiple articles citing the same source do not count as independent verification.

We may use AI to create explanatory illustrations, atmospheric images, and example screens. These can differ from real people, places, events, and product interfaces. We do not present them as evidence of actual performance, facilities, or customer results.

When an AI-generated image could be mistaken for a real photograph, we disclose how it was made near the image or within its content. Original photographs, screenshots, diagrams, and external images are described according to their actual origin. We check usage conditions and required permissions separately from attribution.

We distinguish verified facts, company statements, researchers’ estimates, media reports, and Treeru’s analysis or opinions. Absolute claims such as “none,” “all,” “always,” or “completely safe” require evidence supporting that scope. Where sources disagree, we explain the difference or limit the claim to what can be verified.

We check the population and date behind figures, and the product version and environment behind technical advice. Service descriptions and case studies stay within verified capabilities and results. Examples and projected outcomes are not presented as actual achievements.

Referencing facts is different from reusing another work’s wording, structure, or images. Quotations identify their source and are assessed for purpose, extent, and importance within the original work. Attribution or partial rewording alone does not make reuse unrestricted.

We also check usage conditions and required permissions before submitting external materials to AI tools or reusing them in content. Rights concerns prompt a review of the material and its use, followed by appropriate correction, rewriting, suspension of use, or permission checks. Removing or replacing a source name alone does not resolve a rights issue.

Blog and news posts show publication dates, and substantive updates include an updated date. Our principle is to record the date and reason for corrections that materially change facts or meaning in the affected post. Service descriptions and guides are reviewed against the offering and relevant environment.

We revisit content when we learn of changed announcements or errors. These standards explain our production and review principles; they are not a guarantee that every item is error-free. Minor spelling and presentation changes are distinguished from substantive corrections.

Technical explanations and informational content provide general guidance to aid understanding and decisions. Application and results can vary by product version, settings, contract terms, and operating environment. Check the latest official sources and applicable service information before adopting a product or making changes.
